Street is a large village to the west of Applebarn Holidays which you can reach by car via Glastonbury along the A361 and A39. Famous as the worldwide headquarters for Clarks Shoes, Street is a very popular shopping destination with its long high street and outlet shopping at Clarks Village.
A vibrant, tolerant and interesting town, Glastonbury is the sort of place people visit for a few days and all of a sudden realise they’ve been living there for the last ten years. Best advice is to just park the car and wander about.
